The immediate past Chief of Staff to the Governor of Anambra State, Chief Ernest Ezeajughi has extended heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Pa Alexander Ikechukwu Emesim (Chinemelu I of Ukpor), describing his passing as the loss of a respected elder and unifying figure in the community.
During his condolence visit, Chief Ezeajughi reflected on the life and values of the late patriarch, noting that Pa Emesim embodied discipline, wisdom, and a deep commitment to family and societal growth. He commended the strong legacy left behind, particularly evident in the accomplishments of his children and the enduring influence of his ideals within Ukpor and beyond.
He further encouraged the bereaved family, and his good friend —Chief Evans Izuchukwu Emesim (Okwumereze I of Ukpor Ancient Kingdom), to remain steadfast, drawing strength from the impactful life their father lived. According to him, the true measure of a man is reflected not only in his years, but in the lives he touched and the structures he helped build.
Chief Ezeajughi concluded by urging the community to uphold the virtues of unity, integrity, and service, which Pa Emesim stood for, emphasizing that such values remain essential for collective progress and lasting peace.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of the departed soul and for God to grant the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
