The Radio, Television, Theatre and Arts Workers Union of Nigeria (RATTAWU) has honoured High Chief Abraham Otti (Mighty Mighty), Ikenga Umuchu, in recognition of his outstanding humanitarian services and unwavering commitment to the welfare of humanity.

The award forms part of RATTAWU’s deliberate efforts to identify, celebrate and encourage individuals whose selfless contributions are positively impacting lives and advancing community development across Nigeria. It is also one of the activities lined up by the Union as it journeys towards the celebration of its Golden Jubilee Anniversary, RATTAWU @50,  scheduled for next year.

Presenting the award in Anambra State, the President of RATTAWU, Comrade Prince Emeka Kalu “Magic Fingers” , describes High Chief Abraham Otti as a distinguished philanthropist whose interventions have brought hope, relief and opportunities to countless individuals and communities.

Comrade Kalu stated that societies thrive when individuals of means and influence devote themselves to the service of humanity, adding that High Chief Otti’s exemplary lifestyle and commitment to uplifting the less privileged deserve recognition and emulation.

The presentation ceremony was attended by key National officers of the Union, including the National Treasurer, the National Publicity Secretary, the National Coordinator of the Women Committee, the Deputy Women Coordinator, the Zonal organising Secretary South East and other RATTAWU representatives from Anambra State.

Responding, High Chief Abraham Otti expressed profound appreciation to RATTAWU for finding him worthy of the honour. He describes the recognition as a motivation to continue serving humanity and touching lives.

According to him, whatever he has been able to achieve is by the grace of God, and he remains committed to giving back to society in appreciation of God’s abundant blessings upon his life.

He assured the Union and the public that the recognition would further strengthen his resolve to expand his humanitarian activities and continue supporting the less privileged, vulnerable groups and community development initiatives.
