Supporters argue that the proposal resonates strongly with younger Imolites who increasingly see innovation, digital economy, and global collaboration as the future of governance.

Critics may question implementation challenges, but even they acknowledge that the conversation itself represents a shift from traditional political rhetoric to policy-driven engagement.

For many political watchers, Dr. Ejike Chukwu’s diaspora agenda is more than a campaign document it is a statement of intent about the kind of leadership model he hopes to introduce: modern, globally aware, investment-focused, and institution-driven.

In a state blessed with one of the most vibrant and successful diaspora populations in Africa, many now believe the real question is no longer whether Imo has the human resources to transform economically.
