In a show of deep gratitude and recognition of outstanding selfless community services and rural development, the Aguata Local Government Council leadership, under Mayor Dr. Chibueze Ofobuike, paid a new year courtesy visit to Anambra born industrialist , uncommon philanthropist, and highly respected community leader — High Chief Dr. Amb. Anthony Ikenna Obele (Okwunze Aguata, 7 Star General).

The visit , Publisher of 4th Estate Reporters, Njoku MacDonald Obinna , gathered, was to acknowledge his consistent contributions to the growth of Ezinifite and other parts of Aguata local government council in Anambra State.
Chief Obele, has remained a strong pillar of progress within the local government. Most recently, he single handedly constructed and delivered a solid 5km road project , a landmark achievement that was formally inaugurated by Governor Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo and has since eased movement for residents.

Beyond infrastructure, his support has extended to education and youth development. During preparations for the international exposure tour of the finalists of the 2025 Aguata Best Student Challenge, he offered exceptional financial backing that strengthened the success of the programme.
The delegation, accompanied by respected traditional leaders, conveyed heartfelt appreciation and reaffirmed confidence in his continued partnership as the local government advances its developmental agenda. His generosity remains a source of encouragement and a catalyst for greater achievements in Aguata.

Progress in Aguata continues to be driven by shared commitment and purposeful leadership.
