Imo at 50: A Royal Salute to Our Shared Heritage and Prosperity

On this historic occasion marking the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Imo State, I joyfully felicitate Ndi Imo acrossd the country and around the world in celebrating fifty years of collective identity, resilience, purposeful existence, and shared prosperity.

Over the decades, Imo State has distinguished itself through the industry, intelligence, and perseverance of her collective heritage. Our journey has been one of challenges met with courage and aspirations pursued with determination. As a custodian of Igbo culture and tradition, I believe that true progress is achieved when development walks hand in gloves with cultural values, unity, and respect for our heritage.

As we commemorate this golden milestone, I commend the governor , His Excellency , Sen. Hope Uzodimma for his developmental giant stride , and also commend all those who have contributed to the growth and stability of our dear state. It is my earnest prayer that Imo State will continue to enjoy peace, visionary leadership, and sustainable development in the years ahead.
